I recently gave a talk on adapting cluster graphs to fit continuous trait models on phylogenetic networks in the Department of Statistics at the National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan. The faculty were very welcoming, and I look forward to keeping in contact and finding opportunities to collaborate!

I recently accepted an offer to join the University of Melbourne as a MACSYS/MIG Research Fellow in Biological Data Science! If everything goes smoothly 🤞, I should be starting early next year. In the meantime, I am trying to clear as much of my backlog as possible. But it is a happy task ~

I successfully defended my dissertation on May 7th, 2025 and obtained my Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison! I am deeply indebted to my advisor, collaborators, family, friends, and mentors, without whom I could not have walked this journey.

I’m thankful to have received the SRGC Conference Presentation Award from the UW-Madison Graduate School to support my participation at the upcoming 3rd Joint Congress on Evolutionary Biology in Montreal, Canada this July!
